Science

All Southbrook pupils learn and experience science in school. In our specialist classroom, pupils learn about a broad range of scientific areas through a range of practical and personalised theoretical teaching.  

Pupils are encouraged to ask questions, learn and apply concepts to the world around them and develop safe ways of exploring processes and reactions of substances and matter found in the physical and natural world around us.  

As pupils progress into Key Stage 4, we offer a range of different pathways, including Entry Level options and for some pupils, the Science Today pathway. The aim of our science curriculum is to develop inquisitive learners and to offer insight and knowledge of the world around us.
