22nd June 2017
On Monday 19th June, Tom from the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter, visited school. All Year 9 children took part in activities and workshops, where they could experience life during World War 2.
In English, some of us have been learning about the story of 'Goodnight Mr Tom' and what life was like being an evacuee.
Pupils had the opportunity to dress up and take part in drama activities and handling workshops and they enjoyed storytelling and a Q and A session.
All pupils were brilliantly behaved and very enthusiastic and Tom commented on how fantastic their participation levels were.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable morning - please enjoy the photos of some of us in action!
