Halloween Maths fun!

1st November 2017

The maths department got into the spirit of the season by designing some Halloween themed activities! These included things like measuring skills; reading scales of blood-filled syringes, weighing out some witches bogies (yuk!) and measuring the lengths of some squiggly worms! They used positional language by working out a way to get a spider through a maze & they practised adding up in a vampire dice game & ghostly cup skittles! There were lots of other activities to keep them busy as we love to have fun & memorable learning experiences at here at Southbrook! The students had a fantastic day as well as working on their maths skills.
