24th February 2014
On Thursday 13th February, 9LV had a visit from Rob Paskall from The Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter. He came to share artefacts and photographs about World War 2, as part of their learning about the book “Goodnight Mr Tom.” The children learnt what it was like to be a child during the war and took part in many activities including: wearing a gasmask, using a stirrup pump, disposing of a bomb and singing old war songs with the gramophone. All of the children were a fantastic example for the school and participated with huge enthusiasm. Well done 9LV!
